Sor Thanikul Interclub
The Sor Thanikul Interclub was a huge success and there where some great fights from both parties but it was a clean home run for the Sor Thanikul team. Great to see so many people supporting the club and fighters and especially well done to Syd and James who had their first Thai fights and won them convincingly.
Next up is the 15th June and hopefully we should see some of first timers hitting the big event.

JINN in Bradford

Although I got home at 2.30 in the morning (which is never a good thing) the gig in Bradford was bloody fun. Pitty Grinding Halt didn't show up until we where leaving but I ain't waiting all night for some bump and grind action.
Anyway i though i would post up this review for the latest Jinn release as its bloody good. Until next time...
Newcastle's best kept secret is out on the loose and bringing on the brutality full fucking force. Jinn defy being pigeonholed into just one boring genre by sheer range. This album will appeal to the grind-freaks, metal-heads, H/C punks and even those into doom and gloom and noisy rock. To say Jinn shows multiple personalities is putting it lightly. This entire album, track after incredible track holds the listener's attention with the thought of "holy shit, what's coming next?" from beginning to end. There are some definite nods to bands like Motorhead, At The Gates, Neurosis and even some early N.D., weird comparisons since none of the above mentioned sound anything alike. But that's Jinn, different and uncompromising; they are not letting any set genre define their sound, they are too busy creating the ballistic beast that is their music. This has been spending a lot of time on my stereo.
